At the time we saw these plants, Charlie Glass referred to them as Turbinicarpus cf. bonatzii ("klinkerianus"), but we have been assured since by Anton Höfer that they are really Turbinicarpus schmiedickeanus var. panarottoi Riha 1996 (Kaktusy 32(1):25-27).
